 Alan B. July 7, 2020. Thumbs : 34. Review : I use a Chromecast. I watch everything with captions because I'm hard of hearing. The last few months they've been misaligned/misformatted to the left of the screen cutting off the first words of each line. Totally unacceptable. No other streaming platform has this ongoing problem with captions/subtitles. Please fix asap.

Franco Nidea. April 9, 2020 Thumbs : 11. Review : Always stops in the middle of a show when casting to TV. Have to disconnect the Chromecast and reconnect and open app for it to work. You can imagine how annoying that is if happens once or twice every episode. Also the subtitles are on the left side, not centered. Wut???

Joe Cucuzza. August 6, 2018. Review : Garbage app. Chromecast support is horrible. When you pause the time keeps ticking on the app. Can't hit resume without force closing the app and closing the chromecast connect. Subtitles are misaligned. I expect more from a company as big as showtime.

Kris Wong. June 5, 2018. Thumbs : 2. Review : This app and it's service are terrible. The app does not remember what shows I watch or which episodes I have watched. I can't resume playing after pausing when connected to Chromecast. Stream is in stereo and not 5.1 surround sound. Netflix has set the bar so high.

Andrew Handel. January 7, 2018. Thumbs : 3. Review : One star because Chromecast doesn't work properly, which is the entire purpose of using this app for me. In order to play the next episode, I have to disconnect every single time, reconnect, and then play the next one. Additionally, cast controls in the notification bar of my Pixel 2 will brick the cast, forcing me to once again disconnect the stream and reconnect.

Kristian Kamphaus. January 5, 2018. Thumbs : 1. Review : Far and away the worst streaming app from a major content producer. Reminds me of HBO Go from 4 years ago. Chromecast controls and support are abysmal. Frequently the 'Showtime Anytime ready to cast' text stays on the screen while streaming, and when it doesn't the play/pause controls don't work. Bottom Line: needs a lot of work.

Kevin Liebler. May 27, 2017. Thumbs : 4. Review : Chromecast media controls are completely broken. If I pause any video that is casting, the media progress bar continues as if the media is still playing and I can't resume playback unless I disconnect, reconnect, and then rewind from the place where I supposedly paused. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Clicking on the Chromecast button sends me back to the show currently playing. What was once a decent app has become just awful. Figure it out.

April Adams. February 4, 2017. Review : Poor design!!!! Why would the "disconnect from Chromecast" button take up the entire bottom section of the screen which is right next to where the home button is located on most phones. I accidently press it all the time.
